About HACC
What is the Highly Aligned Career Cohort (HACC)?
HACC is a reflective and professionally grounded cohort designed for globally minded professionals seeking clarity, alignment, and intentional direction in their work and calling. It combines live Zoom sessions, guided reflection, mentorship, and a supportive peer community.
Who is HACC for?
HACC is for professionals who are capable, experienced, and thoughtful, yet sense that greater alignment is needed in how they approach career decisions, growth, and purpose. Selection is intentional, and participation is by acceptance only.
What is HACC not?
HACC is not a technical training programme, a job placement service, or a therapy or counselling programme. It is a reflective cohort focused on alignment, discernment, and intentional growth.
Programme Structure & Delivery
How long is the January 2025 cohort?
HACC runs for 21 days, with a structured rhythm of live sessions, reflection, and light community engagement.
How is HACC delivered?
HACC is delivered primarily through live Zoom sessions, including breakout rooms for small-group reflection. A WhatsApp community space supports connection and prompts between sessions.
Are sessions recorded?
Some sessions may be recorded for internal cohort use. Breakout room discussions and personal sharing are not recorded. Recording details will always be communicated in advance.
What if I miss a session?
If you are unable to attend a live session, you are encouraged to review any shared materials and continue engaging with the cohort reflections. Live participation is encouraged, but we recognise that global schedules vary.
Participation & Expectations
How much time should I expect to commit?
Participants should expect to commit time for live sessions, personal reflection, and light community engagement. The focus is on intentional presence rather than volume of activity.
What is expected of me as a participant?
Participants are expected to engage respectfully, honour confidentiality, and approach the cohort with openness and responsibility. Full expectations are outlined in the Psychological Safety Statement and Code of Conduct.
Is participation mandatory in all activities?
Participation is encouraged but not enforced. You are responsible for engaging in a way that aligns with your capacity and intentions for the cohort.
Mentors & Facilitation
How does mentorship work in HACC?
Mentorship in HACC is delivered through group-based sessions. Mentors offer perspective, insight, and guidance aligned with the cohort’s reflective goals.
Can I request one-to-one mentoring?
HACC does not offer individual mentoring sessions as part of the cohort. Any additional opportunities will be communicated separately.
Community & Communication
How will we communicate during the cohort?
Primary communication will take place via email, live Zoom sessions, and a WhatsApp community group.
Can I message other participants directly?
Direct messaging between participants is permitted but must remain respectful, consensual, and appropriate, in line with the Code of Conduct.
Safeguarding, Conduct & Privacy
How is psychological safety maintained?
HACC operates under a Psychological Safety Statement and Code of Conduct that set clear expectations for confidentiality, respect, and behaviour.
What happens if there is a concern or breach of conduct?
Concerns should be raised privately with a facilitator or the session host. Issues will be handled sensitively and in line with HACC safeguarding principles.
How is my data handled?
HACC operates in alignment with applicable data protection regulations, including UK GDPR. Personal data is used solely for cohort delivery and improvement and is handled securely.
Withdrawal & Changes
Can I withdraw after accepting my place?
If you need to withdraw, please notify the HACC team as soon as possible. Refund or withdrawal terms (if applicable) will be communicated clearly during onboarding.
Can programme details change?
HACC reserves the right to make minor adjustments to scheduling or delivery where necessary. Any changes will be communicated promptly.
